Why is it that our sweet little innocent babies turn into sneaky little munchkins the moment their bottoms hit the booster seat? I don't think OG has had a meal in MONTHS where she has not fed the dog and thrown her sippy cup on the floor. We tell her...wait, no, we PLEAD to her not to throw her sippy on the floor but down it goes. We pick it up and wash the dog hair off and down it goes again. She LOVES to do it and and loves to wait until you are watching her and telling her not to do it. In one sitting she can drop that sippy as much as 8 times in 3 minutes! I just don't get it! We have tried taking it away from her after she does it a few times but then she gets upset. UGH! It is so frustrating!
And speaking of dog hair...she LOVES to feed the dog. We always catch her trying to sneak food to Bailey. He sits there below her booster seat the whole time she eats, just waiting for that little morsel of food to come his way. He knows when it is OG's dinner time that it is also his snack time. Again, we PLEAD to her not to do it and she just holds the food item in her hand...hangs it over the tray...looks at us...then drops it and laughs! It is kind of funny and we try not to laugh at her...but it is hard!
We might as well just let her eat sitting on the floor since that is where all of her food and drink ends up anyway!!!
I guess if we were to move to Japan we would be right at home, since traditionally they ate sitting on the floor...with the sippy cups and food on the floor we would fit right in!! Maybe if she fed Bailey some wasabi he would quit begging. We could also move to China and maybe the sticky rice would stick to her hands and to the sippy and she wouldn't be able to drop it. Or maybe our fortune cookies would tell us " you have something to look forward to tonight"...yeah, cleaning up food off the floor and wiping up the milk.
