How quickly the grow...
Best Buds...who met at 12 months, and have remained best buds. OG left pre-school for K in the fall of 2009. MNM missed the bday cut-off and had to stay behind one more year...then went to another school for K. Although they are now one grade apart and in different schools, when they get together, it is as if no time has passed. That is how it should be with BFF's.

Did you KNOW that OG broker her collar bone?
Yep - she broke her collar bone, fractured her clavicle...whatever you want to call it (apparently it is the same thing). I got a call last Thursday at 3:20 that OG had fallen on some parallel type bars on the playground and was hurt and her arm looked funny. I went to get her, rushed her to the peds, who then referred us to the ortho, who took and x-ray who confirmed...YEP broken! Poor girl has to wear a sling (I thought there would be more than a sling) for 2 weeks, and have limited activity for 4.
The first night was challening. More so because we had to figure out how to dress her without moving her arm too much (we realized we need more button downs!). She had to get used to sleeping on her back. She couldn't suck her thumb or rub on her blankie (quite possibly the worst part, for her, of this whole thing).

Mom decided the sling need a little OOMPH! (I ALMOST had it monogrammed {of COURSE I DID!} ) but my monogramming girl was busy, so I brought back my paint pen skills from high school..

Thanks to everyone for the calls, emails, cards and boxes of clothes with button downs included (yeah Aunt Cindy, Uncle Frank & Bea!!).
