The Big Par-Tay!

The BIG 3rd birthday Par-Tay was held this weekend! Family and friends came from near and far and we had a FABU time!!!! OG wore herself out at the party and took a 4 hour nap afterwards! AWESOME!! She got some great gifts and a fun time was had by all! It was so nice to NOT have the party at our house for a change (since we just moved in). The bouncy place we had it at had a party hostess who took care of everything...she corralled the kids, served food, helped put gifts in the car, etc...AWESOME! Totally worth the $ we paid!

Here are some pix of OG on the morning of her 3rd birthday. They were taken on the porch of our temporary housing which we are out of now thank you very much! YEAH! (more on that in another post!)

I can't believe our Baby Girl is THREE!!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Baby Girl!

Dear OG,
Our baby girl OG is THREE today! I can hardly believe it. When I put you to bed last night I told you the story of your early birth...and cried. You asked me if I was sad...I said no. This morning I sang happy bday to you...and cried! Again you asked me if I was sad...I said no. We are so proud of you and all you have made it through in 3 yrs. It is hard to believe in about 30 mins (9:30am EST) it would have been 3 yrs since they came in my hospital room and told me "your baby needs to come out now...call who you need...you c-section is in 1 hour". I didn't have time to freak or worry....it was all so shocking. So then at 10:46am on June 13, 2004, you, OGN were born into this world...kicking and screaming...born at 29.5 weeks/10.5 wks early...2 lbs 9 oz, 15.5" long. You were BEAUTIFUL!...and still are.

Daddy is in Vegas and will return tonight. We will have a bday party at school around 3:00 (your real party is 6/23)...then we will have dinner at Mimi's Cafe with Meemaw...then about 8pm we will greet Daddy at the airport and welcome him home.

OH, and I took some GREAT pix of you this morning (thanks for smiling!) in your bday dress....but of COURSE I left the stupid cord to download them at HOME! UGH I will post them tomorrow.

Hmmm, Water Ice...

The other wknd we went to the park and had something YUMMY. Water Ice! I guess you would compare it to Lemon Ice but it wasn't lemon...it was cotton candy flavored! YUM. But it was called water ice...anyway, it was GOOD! OG really liked it.

One more week in the rental then we are in our new home! We miss our old house but we are doing OK in this temporary home. I picked out paint colors last night for our new house and already we have our new bedding for our master bedroom. YEAH! We bought new bedroom furniture over Memorial Day weekend....cool! We are finally getting a king bed so that will be NICE!

Where have I been???

Where have I been you may ask?? The answer is: looking for bedroom furniture, trying to find paint swatches, buying a new kitchen dinette set, picking out new carpet, scouring online and TJ's, Marshall's, Ross's & Tuesday Morning for king size AFFORDABLE bedding...the list goes on and on.

Sorry for the light posting lately...I can tell you it will remian light until we move into our house on 6/16 and I find my camera that is packed away in some box in a dark corner somewhere.

In the meantime, here are some pix of our new house to keep you occupied...ignore the decorating and things, that will ALL be changed!
