We went tubing this weekend. There is a great little spot (Hawksnest), just north of Boone, NC (near Appalachian State). Lots of fun. There was no snow (except for the man made tube lanes). It was 30 degrees, and the wind chill was low 20's...and it was snowing! Definitely going back next year!
