Sick Little Girl

Poor OG. We have a sick baby on our hands today. I posted this on FaceBook and no one believe it...but OG really has not been sick for about 2 yrs+. Maybe didn't feel good, had a slight fever...but no need to go to the Ped's office. I JUST mentioned this to hubbie last week...how she had not been sick. I even knocked on the fake woodgrain in our minivan. Note to self...fake wood grain, does not real wood make. BOO

We got a call on Tuesday from her school that she was complaining she didn't fell well, had a sore throat and that she had a 99.5 temp. They suggested I take her to the ped's office b/c strep was going around. Turns out she had an ear infection! I don't think she has had one of those since she was maybe 2.5 They put her on amoxycillin (sp).

She started the meds Tues night...but complained last night that she didn't feel well. In the middle of the night last night she woke me up saying she needed to throw up. She did this several times and has continued to do it today. She mostly just spit and sputtered but threw up a few times too. She is now resting. Poor girl.

I called the ped's office...b/c I think she is having some sort fo reaction to the meds or is not tolerant of them. So we will see.
