Bye Bye Fry!

We said good bye to Fry Street and our sweet little bungalow last night! So sad. It was awful walking out the front door for the last time. I walked around from room to room looking at the shining hardwoods and listening to the echos of emptiness...and cried. So many memories there...and it was OG's first home (aside from the NICU for 8.5 wks).

Her sweet little bedroom with the picket fence and bunnies and birds on the wall that my Dad & I painted while she was still in the hospital, will be painted over in a few short days. The red candle wax still on the wall in the dining room from an AWESOME crazy Mardi Gras party in 2004 will be gone too. I will even miss the annoying exhaust fan in my bathroom, that ALWAYS came on when you turned on the light. I hate to see it all go, but I know we are moving on the something better and BIGGER (3 wks from today thank goodness).

Be good to your new owners old house! Thanks for many wonderful memories!!! We love you! I promise I will make a few drive by's every once in a while just to look....kind of like an old girlfriend does to her ex's place after they break-up. Not that I know anything about that though.

PS. Dear New Owners, the light switch in the kitchen has a mind of its own...and if you look really closely while on the deck, you can snoop on the neighbors behind you through the privacy fence. Not that I know anything about that either.

We sold our house!!! We sold our house!!

Yeah! We move out this wknd and into temporary housing for a month...then we move into our new house (yes, we bought a house too) on June 14th.
