City Meet 2012!

Summer Camp, Summer Camp, Sum Sum Summer Camp!

OG went away to summer camp this week. It was only a 2.5 day summer camp...but HELLO, SUMMER CAMP! SLEEP AWAY CAMP! Two.Point.Five.Days.  She was soo excited. I cried. Daddy & I were nervous. She said for us to beat it & leave...and all was well.

We picked her up today. She was excited to see us and chattered the whole way back. She told us tonight that one night she cried a little when they were making smores. She said it made her miss her family. But other than THAT, she was ok. She also said she can't wait until next year, but she is worried she won't be able to make it a whole week. (That is what she wants to try next year). She said when we left her there, she was OK because she forgot that she couldn't call us. And after we were gone, she remembered, and it made her sad. Awww. My baby girl!

The Annual July 4th Hat Photo!

When OG was in the NICU, and 3 weeks old, she could fit into this hat. I SOO wish I had taken a picture of her IN the hat, but I was scared the nurses would get mad at me and think I was a bad parent. LOL

HOORAY! Look how far I've come!

Someone has a sassy new hairdo!

8"+ of hair GONZO! She decided Wednesday night that she wanted it cut, and we went in on Thursday. I had an appt, and my hair girl managed to work OG in for her own appt. She was nervous (both my hair girl AND OG)...but SOO excited after it was over. She looks like such a big girl! And YES, we kept the ponytail (it wasn't long enought to donate. The ponytail was about 7", and the remaining 8+ was trimmed off as she went along.)

Happy Birthday Poppi!

Poppi came over for dinner tonight to celebrate his birthday a day early! We had cupcakes, gifts & even special ordered his favorite chicken salad from his favorite local sandwich shop! YUM.
